How do we remain ourselves while living among different forces?
Wood and jade hold completely different temperatures, densities and histories. This collection allows both to remain visible. Neither becomes the decorative support for the other. Their relationship is built through proportion, distance and placement—a contemporary reading of harmony that does not ask difference to disappear.
An Eastern reading

Our interpretation begins with an Eastern understanding that harmony can include difference. Applied to contemporary life, this is not a retreat from responsibility or other people. It is the practice of remaining connected without losing one’s own rhythm.
